Nigeria's president reappoints Mele Kyari as NNPC chief -spokesperson

After that, the state police detained and charged him with procurement fraud. The head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Abdulrasheed Bawa was also suspended indefinitely for abuse of office. Angola overtook Nigeria as Africa's biggest oil producer and exporter for a few months last year. The country relies almost entirely on importing refined products.
